Do embedding sites need a cookie banner? +
No. The Emberhop widget is fully cookieless with no cookies and no persistent identifiers. EU authorities including CNIL explicitly permit this aggregate analytics approach under legitimate interest. No consent banner needed on any site hosting your document.
What happens when someone copies my embed code? +
That's the moat. Every site that embeds your document appears in your domain list. Once your code is on dozens of sites, switching tools means contacting every webmaster to remove it. That is infrastructure level switching cost.
Only PDFs? +
PDFs only for now. We render a fast, clean viewer that works on every device. No flipbook animations, just your document presented clearly. Other formats are on the roadmap.
How is Emberhop different from DocSend? +

Can I cancel anytime? +

Where is my data stored? +
All data is stored in the EU on infrastructure operated by EU-based companies. We never transfer personal data outside the EU. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is included on all paid plans for GDPR compliance.
